Tom Shepherd, PhD, is the speaker at the Eau Claire Seventh-day Adventist Church this Saturday. Pastor Shepherd continues his series on the parables of Jesus with a sermon titled "In the Lap of Luxury." The message focuses on the parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus, which lays deep stress on how we treat those who are suffering. The church service begins at 9:30 a.m. followed by Sabbath School at 11 a.m. All are welcome.
